Hands up if you knew the Doctor was such a legend on the pitch? We were as gobsmacked as Craig was to see him scoring goal after goal in The Lodger. If only he'd been as good at playing human as he was at playing footy! We didn't know he could head, volley and dribble like that - or strike a dead ball as well as Becks!

How creepy were the spooky avatar people, luring people up the stairs into the ghost ship in order to find a new pilot? We were very glad they didn't get Sophie or Craig. And wasn't the Doctor the funniest 'human being' you've ever seen? We laughed out loud at his air kisses, his reference from the Archbishop of Canterbury, his mad non-technological scanning device and his attempt to save Craig with a toothbrush!
