The TARDIS crash lands in America for Series Six!
It's been announced that Series Six of Doctor Who will start next year with a special two-part story set in the USA! In the story, the Doctor, Amy and Rory are summoned back to the 1960s for a spectacular adventure that reaches from the deserts of Utah to the Oval Office - home of the American President himself!
Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill will jet out to in Utah next month to film key scenes from the story - and they'll be joined by Alex Kingston, who is back as River Song!
Writer Steven Moffat told us, "The Doctor has visited every weird and wonderful planet you can imagine, so he was bound get round to America eventually! And of course every Doctor Who fan will be jumping up and down and saying he's been in America before. But not for real, not on location - and not with a story like this one! Oh, you wait!"
What? We have to wait?!? No fair! Waaaaah!
