Doctor Who Adventures

Just one more sleep until the next episode of Doctor Who - The Hungry Earth. It's almost too exciting to sleep! We're up to episode eight now, and so far we've seen the Doctor battle Prisoner Zero, Smilers, old and new Daleks, Weeping Angels, alien space fish and the mean Dream Lord. What can be lurking around the next corner?

Well, this week it's the scaly Silurians! We've seen them in the trailer and the Doctor has battled them before. They're giant green lizard-like creatures who lived on Earth millions of years before human beings. In the past, they've tried to snatch the planet away from us humans, but what will happen this time?

Keep your eyes and ears open for the answers to some of these cryptic episode questions:

• What does a drilling project have to do with the Silurians?
• Where does that giant hole in the ground come from?
• How can Earth be fighting back?
